L'exposition "Madame Grès - la couture à l'œuvre" au Musée Bourdelle à Paris s'est terminée hier. Moi qui comptait aller la voir lors de mon passage à Paris c'est raté! Voici quelques images de ses créations pour vous donner une idée.

The exhibition "Madame Grès - la couture à l'œuvre (which could be translated as: the seam in action" at the Musée Bourdelle in Paris ended yesterday. And I was planning to go and see it when I'd be in Paris! Well, that is missed! Here's so images of her designs to give you an idea.

Publicis Montreal lauched a new campaign to promote Jean Paul Gaultier's exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Montréal.

McQueen à New York

Parmi les expositions à ne pas manquer cet été, celle d'Alexander McQueen, au Met Museum (Metropolitan Museum of Art) de New York, est un must! Déjà en cours depuis le 4 mai dernier, je n'aurai malheureusement pas la chance d'aller la voir d'ici le 7 août, date à laquelle elle prend fin! Pour ceux qui sont dans la même regrettable situation, voici l'exposition "Savage Beauty" en quelques images, courtoisie du Met Museum.

Among the shows not to be missed this summer, the Alexander McQueen exhibition at the Met Museum (Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New York, is a must! Underway since May 4, I will unfortunately not have the chance to go see it by August 7, when it ends! Photoshoot improvisé

Hier soir, en revenant du lancement Festival mode et Design (d'où mes yeux à moitié fermés par la fatigue), j'ai fait ce petit photoshoot  pour tenter de créer des looks avec mes vêtements préférés. Je me suis amusée.

Yesterday evening, when I got back from the launching of the Fashion and Design Festival program, (which can explain my semi-closed eyes from tiredness) I made this little photoshoot to try to create some looks with my favourite clothes. I had fun.

Festival Mode & Design, lancement de la programmation

Hier a eu lieu le lancement officiel de la programmation du Festival Mode & Design de Montréal, à l'hotel Le Crystal, avec conférence de presse et champagne! Pour voir la programmation complète du Festival, cliquez ici!

Le photographe montréalais Sébastien Roy a fait un shooting avec le chanteur Pierre Lapointe, portant différentes tenues de créateurs d'ici. Les montréalais reconnaîtront, entre autres, Philippe Dubuc, Travis Taddeo, et Samuel Mercure, qui a récemment fait son entrée à la Semaine de la mode de Montréal. À noter que les créations de Samuel Mercure et de Travis Taddeo sont maintenant disponibles à la boutique Denis Gagnon.

The Montreal photographer Sebastien Roy did a shoot with singer Pierre Lapointe, wearing different outfits by our designers. Montrealers might recognize, among others, Philippe Dubuc, Travis Taddeo and Samuel Mercure, which recently entered the Montreal Fashion Week. Note that the creations of Samuel Mercure and Travis Taddeo are now available at Denis Gagnon's boutique.

L'ancien élève de de la Central Saint Martin School de Londres, Hussein Chalayan, est exposé au musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Alliant mode, architecture et design, vous pouvez voir ses créations depuis le 5 juillet dernier, jusqu'au 13 novembre 2011.

The former student of  the Central Saint Martin School in London, Hussein Chalayan, is displaying his work at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. Combining fashion, architecture and design, you can see his work since the 5th of July until November 13, 2011.
